Virginia is a registered independent midwife serving women across Sussex, Surrey, and Kent, holding birth not as a medical event to be managed, but as a threshold to be honoured.

She specialises in homebirth, VBAC, HBAC, and breech birth, and holds additional qualifications including Breech Without Borders certification, 3-Step Rewind birth trauma training, craniosacral therapy, aromatherapy, placenta medicine, and is an accredited yoga teacher. But her qualifications are only part of the picture.

Virginia's approach is rooted in traditional midwifery, the promotion of health, not the management of risk. She believes that midwifery is its own medicine. Relationship-based care,  being truly known by the person who attends your birth, changes everything. 

Her clients have read the research, listened to their bodies, they know that relationship is the medicine. She works with women who want the evidence and the sacred, and who know that none of it works without the person who truly knows them.

Women who have felt invisible in the system, whose preferences have been noted and filed away, who have decided they are not doing it that way. Women who are ready to claim a birth that is not just safe, but sacred. A rite of passage. A threshold that deserves to be honoured, not managed.

Her packages offer full continuity from early pregnancy through the postnatal period, care from 31 weeks for those joining later, and standalone antenatal and postnatal support. She also offers birth trauma release, closing ceremony, mother blessing, placenta medicine, virtual consultations, and mentoring.
