Paramedic & Founder of Green Turtle First Aid courses

Green Turtle First Aid was founded by Elad Amswych, a registered HCPC Paramedic with over 18 years of NHS experience. His career began when volunteering with the Israeli ambulance service in Haifa, Israel on his gap year, which ignited a passion for helping people. 

Throughout his time working for the NHS, he received a certification in pre-hospital care and rose through the ranks from Student to Senior Paramedic, mentoring many University Paramedic students and junior staff along the way.  He has worked within several NHS hospitals across Hertfordshire and Essex and provided Paramedic cover at large-scale events and festivals such as the London 2012 Olympics and V Festival.

Having been exposed to many emergency situations throughout his career, Elad has always been passionate that everyone should be trained in First Aid, with those minutes between an accident or a medical emergency occurring and help arriving can be crucial.  

After qualifying in the TQUK Level 3 Award in Education & Training, he founded Green Turtle First Aid.  His experience means that he has been exposed to almost every possible situation and is able to share his knowledge and give everyone the confidence to stay calm and act if required.
