Craniosacral Therapist & Massage

Hi, I’m Kate

With over 30 years of experience working in healthcare including nursing, health visiting

and serving as an Infant Feeding Lead - I have seen first-hand how beautifully

complementary therapies can support conventional medicine to improve overall health and

wellbeing.

Throughout my career I have supported many families with feeding, bonding and early

parenting challenges. This experience continues to inform my holistic work with mothers,

babies and families today.

As a mother of three daughters, I also understand personally the many physical and emotional

changes that women and families experience throughout pregnancy, birth and early

parenthood.

My interest in therapeutic touch began during my early years as an Accident & Emergency

nurse. It was there that I witnessed daily how human connection - particularly through

compassionate touch - could calm the nervous system, ease distress and support the body’s

natural healing processes in ways that medical intervention alone could not always achieve.

These experiences inspired me to deepen my training in complementary therapies, including

Craniosacral Therapy, Holistic Massage, Thai Yoga Massage and Mindfulness-Based Stress

Reduction.

Today I work with clients of all ages, creating a calm and supportive space where the body

and mind can settle, rebalance and restore. My approach blends medical understanding with

gentle, intuitive therapy, helping each person reconnect with their body’s innate capacity for

healing.

I have a particular passion for supporting women and young families through pregnancy, the

postnatal period and the early years of parenting. Craniosacral therapy can be especially

helpful during these times of change, offering a deeply relaxing and nurturing treatment that

supports the nervous system and the body’s natural ability to adapt and recover.

Women often seek craniosacral therapy during pregnancy and after birth to support

relaxation, ease physical tension, process the experience of birth and create space for rest and

restoration during the transition into motherhood.

Many families also return with their babies for gentle craniosacral sessions. These sessions

can support feeding difficulties, unsettled babies, colic, birth tension and overall wellbeing,

while providing a calm and nurturing space for both mother and baby.

Through my work I aim to offer a supportive environment where people feel listened to,

cared for and able to reconnect with their own natural balance and resilience.
