Lactation Consultant & Birth Doula

I am mother to 5 amazing children and each of my birth experiences and feeding journeys have been very different and shaped my career as a Lactation consultant and Birth Doula

Having had my first baby at 20 years old, half way through my degree, I suffered terribly postnatally after feeling out of control in a complicated delivery. This really was the start of my passion around supporting new parents in pregnancy, birth and postpartum.I had a healing birth with my third and I was confidently able to breastfeed, after formula feeding my first two children. The local support I had was transformational for me, so I endeavoured to find a way to give back. Whilst on maternity leave, I started a role within the Breastfeeding Network. I trained as a helper and volunteered. I realised this is what I wanted to do with my life- help people. I have a huge passion to ensure families are empowered and supported.​Since working tirelessly within the NHS and BFN, I now work full time for myself, taking on two birth clients a month and many lactation clients​If you would like to find out more about my support, please do reach out.
