I am a mother to 5 amazing children, and each of my birth experiences and feeding journeys has been very different and shaped my career as a Lactation consultant and Birth Doula.

Having had my first baby at 20 years old, halfway through my degree, I suffered terribly postnatally after feeling out of control in a complicated delivery. This was really the start of my passion for supporting new parents through pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. I had a healing birth with my third, and I was confidently able to breastfeed, after formula feeding my first two children. The local support I had was transformational for me, so I endeavoured to find a way to give back. Whilst on maternity leave, I started a role within the Breastfeeding Network. I trained as a helper and volunteered. I realised this is what I wanted to do with my life- help people. I have a strong passion for ensuring families are empowered and supported.​Since working tirelessly within the NHS and BFN, I now work full-time for myself, taking on two birth clients a month and many lactation clients​.
