Postnatal Doula Support Packages

Starting from £25 per hour

There are several doulas in the Womb & Bloom collective, each offering unique services at different price points.

We can help connect you to the postnatal doula for you if you get in touch with your estimated due date/month and postcode.

We will send you any doulas that have availability so you can decide which one is the right fit for you, your family and your wishes.

The word “doula” comes from a Greek word meaning “woman’s servant”. Doulas are trained, non-medical professionals who provide continuous physical, emotional, and informational support to women before, during and after childbirth to facilitate the best possible birth experience.

As postnatal doulas, our role is to make the parents feel confident, protect their space, and be the presence that creates a calm, trusting, and peaceful environment as you transition to becoming new parents.

There is evidence to show that having a doula can mean:

  • Increased likelihood of successfully establishing breastfeeding & breastfeeding at 6 weeks.

  • Lower incidence of depressive symptomatology.

  • Improve equity and provide culturally responsive care.
